On June 13, 2003, Miss Shay-Coy Ra'Cal Bridgewater graduated from Ohio State University. Miss Bridgewater was awarded a Master of Arts Degree in School Psychology at the 364th Spring Commencement Ceremony.

During her graduate studies, Shay-Coy, was Secretary of The Ohio State School Psychology Student Organisation and was also a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), the American Psychological Association (OSPA). Shay-Coy is also a former graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.

In the autumn of 2003, Miss Bridgewater will return to The Ohio State University to begin a Ph.D. programme in School Psychology. Attending the graduating ceremony were parents, Calvin and Stephanie Bridgewater, sister, Cal-Nika Bridgewater, grandmother, Marion Smith, godmother, Patrice Brangman, and cousin, Norma Hunt.

Miss Bridgewater wishes to express her appreciation to everyone who has and continues to encourage her with support and prayers throughout her studies.
