Tucker House Mid-18th Century home on Water Street, St. George?s. Commemorates prominent Tucker family, whose members include a once-resident president of Bermuda?s Governor?s Council, an important Williamsburg judge and a US Treasurer. Displays include a tribute to Joseph Rainey, a barber in Bermuda who became the first black Representative in the US Congress, an exemplary collection of 18th Century portraits, furniture and silver and an archaeological exhibit that showcases the results of an extensive three-year excavation in the basement.
