Tim and Jan Hawkins of Pinehurst, NC, former residents of Bermuda, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Kathleen, to Christopher Robert Walsh. Chris is the son of Mrs. Dolores Walsh of Springfield, IL. The bride-to-be is a 1989 graduate of Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Beth is a Manufacturers Sales Representative for Durrie Sales.

The groom-to-be is a 1988 graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Electricial Engineering and he received an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1993. Chris is Marketing Director for EGS Electrical Group.

The couple is planning a May 8, 2004 wedding at St. Francis Xavier Church in LaGrange, IL.
