Glamour Magazine gets a thirtysomething editor
NEW YORK (AP) - Being Glamour-ous seems to come naturally for Cindi Leive.
Leive, 34, will be the new editor in chief at Glamour magazine, replacing Bonnie Fuller, who resigned from the Conde Nast publication last week.
Currently the editor in chief of Self magazine, Leive previously worked at Glamour, starting as an editorial assistant, advancing to writer and later to deputy editor. She also produced the magazine's Women of the Year Awards.
"This is a wonderful homecoming for Cindi," said James Truman, Conde Nest's editorial director, in a statement.
Leive began her career at The Paris Review and The Saturday Review.
She lives in New York with her husband, film producer Howard Bernstein. Fuller will remain at the magazine through end of her contract, which expires in August. Leive will take over immediately afterward.

The movie is based on a Robert Ludlum novel about an international terrorist who is shot in the head and loses his memory. The movie also stars Julia Stiles and Clive Owen.
