Music on the menu at Mediterraneo Bistro
Live, sophisticated, contemporary music will be on offer every Friday and Saturday night at Mediterraneo Bistro.
The restaurant is located on the corner of Church and Parliament streets and the event begins at 10 p.m. and runs until 1:30 a.m. Patrons will also enjoy straight ahead jazz, Latin, popular and contemporary jazz, R&B and a fusion of the all these musical genres.
This evening of entertainment is proving to be popular with locals and tourists alike.
Mediterraneo Bistro is the perfect setting for the after hours jazz club mood, serving food until 1 a.m., and featuring some of the finest talent on the Island. Musicians included in the regular line up are Howard Rego, drums, Stan Gilbert, bass, Tony Bari, James Richardson or Wayne Davis, piano.
Guest artists appearing so far have been Wendell (Shine) Hayward, Gita Blakeney, Wencie Woolridge, George Kezas and Rob Lansing.
