On May 18, 2004, graduated from First Coast High School in Florida. Brandon is the grandson of Jeanie Griffis, and the great grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Alfred (Frudae) Mello of 11 Mission Crescent, Paget. His grandmother, Jeanie Griffis, attended the graduation, where Brandon received his High School Diploma, with honours. He won a four year scholarship and will be attending Jacksonville University in the fall of 2004.

graduated from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada, with a BA in Business Administration. Kelly Jean?s parents are Timothy and Kathleen Rego of 5 Middletown Lane, Paget.

Congratulation were received from Emma, Laura, Hugo, Jack, Nana. Grandad and Aunty Syl in the United Kingdom.

Parents, family, godparents and friends wish to congratulate on her outstanding academic and community achievements over the past academic year. Pashe? who celebrated her 18th birthday on August 16, is off to Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Connecticut at the end of August to commence a combined Bachelor and Master?s Degree programme in Health Science with a major in Occupational Therapy. Pashe? attended Warwick Academy during where she maintained a 3.8 GPA while studying for her GCSEs which she sat in May of this year. In March she received her Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award at a presentation held at the Ace Building presented by the Governor John Vereker. Pashe? has just returned from Grenada where she completed her Gold Award expedition leaving Bermuda yet again to start her studies. In June 2004 she was awarded a Certificate for Volunteering for her contributions and service as a Candy Striper at the King Edward Memorial Hospital where she had committed her time over the past four years. . Pashe? was also invited as a Global Scholar to attend a session of her choice in Europe or the United States from the congressional Board of Advisors with the Global Young Leaders conference. She was afforded this unique opportunity as a result of her being amongst he highest achieving students for young men and women. Based on her academic and civic achievements, Pashe?, the youngest awardee, was given a four year scholarship by the Education Committee of the Bermuda Hospitals Board.

The Lightbourne family are pleased to announce the recent graduation of from Kean University on May 6, 2004. O?Shandah has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education and a collateral in Sociology. In addition to her achievement. O?shandah has been dually certified by the New Jersey Department of Education in Preschool through to Grade 3 and Kindergarten through to Grade 8. Attending her graduation was her mother, Sharon Lightbourne, grandmother, Louise Lightbourne, aunts Lorna Anderson & Corole White, cousin, Darron Lightbourne, boyfriend, Ken Looby, and family friend, Kevin Darrell. Special thanks to Mrs. Judith James, Mrs. Collen Dill & family, Rev. Santucci and Rev. Grimes, Heard Chapel AME Churh and TBI. O?Shandah?s next step is to pursue her Masters Degree in Business Administration.

On May 20, 2004, daughter of Kingsley and Wanda graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Public Relations, and Advertising.

During her college career, Katrina achieved the Dean?s list, was named volunteer of the month and volunteer of the year.

She also served as PR Director of Temple?s chapter of the public Relations Student Society of America, Marketing & Event Director of the Residential Organization of Community Service, PR Director of Diamond Edge Communications student run agency and PR committee member of the Temple Student Government. Additionally, she was a Special Olympics basketball coach and implemented and annual university wide reading and motivation programme for children. Locally in 2003, she took -part in the Bermuda Department of Tourism Summer Internship Programme and worked in London, England. Attending the graduation were her parents, brothers Kingsley and Johnathon Simons, grandmother Betty Simons-Bean, aunts Sheila Brown and Shirley Ann Smith, Cousins Keoki Dickinson and Terry O?Connor, boyfriend Heys Wolfe, and friends Jackie Simmons and Ashley Ladson. Katrina s now interning in the Corporate Communications department of XL Capitol Ltd in Bermuda.

On May 26, 2004, graduated from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. In attendance at the ceremony were mother Donna Richardson, father Chris Smith, grandmothers Mary Smith, Thelma Foster and Verona Outerbridge, boyfriend Abdul Smith, aunt Jocene Wade and friend Victor Harmon, aunt Linda Samuels and husband Greg, uncle Richard Gibbons and wife Debbie, godmother Patricia Caines, brother Christino Smith, sister Chrysda Smith, stepmother Rhonda Woods-Smith, Ms Glenda Woods, Dr. Wendy Woods and Juliette Bean, cousins Loreen Richardson of Atlanta, Georgia, Richard Gibbons Jr., Zaji Smith, and Zurico Gibbons, friends Kennodelle Smith, Zakia Tuzo and Jaquita Ingham.

While attending Dalhousie University, Christina made the Dean?s List for academic years 2001, 2003 and 2004. In April 2003, Christina was inducted into the Sigma Theta International Honour Society of Nursing for academic excellence.

On June 9, 2004, Christina wrote and passed the Canadian Registered Nurses Licensure Examination. Christina plans to begin her career in Halifax where she has accepted a position as a registered nurse.
