Piano recital put off
The Mid-Atlantic Piano Recital originally planned for Saturday, April 22 at the City Hall Theatre has been postponed until later in the summer.
The event, under the patronage of Community Affairs and Sports Minister Dale Butler was to feature top pianists from Bermuda, Bahamas and Cuba.
Minister Butler issued an apology to everyone who was looking forward to attending the event, saying he hoped everyone would still support the event when a new date is confirmed.
"Bermuda's first Mid-Atlantic Piano Recital will be an event everyone will enjoy," the Minister said.
"There is just so much going on in April ? there's the Ag Show, the 20-20 Cricket and another musical event planned for the same time in April so we decided it was best to delay the piano recital to ensure that everyone who wants to attend will be able to do so."
The Mid-Atlantic Piano Recital will be re-advertised when a new date has been set.
