The Wellness Store Schedule of classes: Health and Nutrition course (Tuesdays until April 6, 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.) This course introduces the student to the principles of holistic health and will be inclusive of herbal, homeopathic and nutritional therapies for optimal health. Meditation Solutions course (Thursdays until April 8, 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.). This course introduces the student to the principles of meditation as it relates to resolving stress, aiding health situations and overall success in life. The class will be inclusive of supporting information on the science of meditation and also guided meditation sessions. Both class are provided free of charge although donations are kindly accepted. Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society Play: 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinbeck. Tickets $20. Steinbeck tells the story of George and Lennie, who want more than anything to have a place to call home ? where they can live off the "fatta the land." But during America's Great Depression they are forced to travel from job to job in order to survive. Keeping work is harder than finding it, since George must act as a caretaker for Lennie, whose massive frame and childlike faculties repeatedly get them in trouble.Performances 8.00 p.m. each evening at the Daylesford Theatre, corner of Dundonald and Washington Streets. Bermuda National Gallery Art museum in historic City Hall, Hamilton. The collections show both historic and contemporary art from Bermuda and the world. You will find artwork relating to Bermuda's history through its fine and decorative arts, international art reflecting Bermuda's multicultural heritage and excellent temporary exhibitions. Until April 8: Main Gallery: 'Landscape: A Poetic Vision' (15 works by Bermudian/international artists). Watlington Room: 'Seascapes and Landscapes' (works from the Gallery's permanent collection of European masters); Upper Mezzanine: The African Collection (from the Gallery's permanent collection): various works by African artists. Lower Mezzanine: 'A Tribute to Georgine Hill' (Founding trustee of the Gallery, first art teacher in local public school system: exhibition shows her talent as one of the Island's foremost portrait painters); 'A Tribute to deForest Trimingham': Photographs by one of the Island's most passionate and pre-eminent exponents of photography. Includes images from his book, 'Buddha: The Living Way'. Ondaatje Wing: 'The Bermuda Collection: 350 years of art in Bermuda' (paintings/photographs by notable figures in Bermuda's art history. The Bermuda Calendar is a free daily listing of events staged by civic groups, charities, service and similar non-profit organisations.
Written entries for the Calendar, which must include a contact number, may be left at The Royal Gazette any time during the week.
Deadline for any Calendar period is noon on the Friday immediately preceding the Tuesday edition. Entries cannot be accepted after that time.
