Bermuda National Gallery Lunchtime Series: Artist Michael Ives. 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. Free. Mr. Ives is from Tucson, Arizona and returns to BNG's luncheon lecture programme to show two short films dealing with the creation of a painting and a piece of folk art. Don't miss this fun and interesting look into the studio and muse of one of the most successful artists of America's Southwest. There will be an opportunity to purchase prints of Mr. Ives's artwork and he will be giving away door prizes of his art prints as gifts to the audience. La Leche League of Bermuda will be holding a support group meeting open to pregnant and breastfeeding women at 10.30 a.m. at the first floor conference room at King Edward Memorial Hospital. LLL of Bermuda is a registered charity, offering mother to mother help and encouragement to women wanting to breastfeed their babies. An accredited La Leche League Leader and Certified Lactation Consultant will be present to answer questions and address concerns. Bermuda Maritime Museum Local history and culture comes alive at Bermuda Maritime Museum, inside the great fortress Keep of the Old Royal Naval Dockyard. Tucker House Mid-18th-century home commemorating prominent Tucker family, whose members include a once-resident president of Bermuda's Governor's Council, an important Williamsburg judge and a US Treasurer. Displays include a tribute to Joseph Rainey, who worked as a barber in Bermuda before going on to become the first black Representative in the US Congress, exemplary collection of 18th-century portraits, furniture and silver (most of which descended through the Tucker Family) and an archaeological exhibit showcasing the results of an extensive three-year excavation in the basement. St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church The pink church on the corner of Court and Church Streets is open for those who wish to visit or pray, Monday to Friday, 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Built in 1846 this is the oldest surviving church sanctuary in Hamilton.
