Tomorrow

The Woodmont Nursery School, a division of Mount Saint Agnes is having a homecoming event. All former and present students, teachers and parents are invited to gather in gratitude for and in reminiscence about their Woodmont Days as they prepare for closure on August 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woodmont Nursery School.

Byron Lee and the Dragonaires are back at Tiger Bay, St. George?s from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $50 in advance and $55 at the door.

The Second Annual Bermuda Sports Hall of Fame awards will be held in the amphitheatre of the Fairmont Southampton Resort at 6.30 p.m. Dress is black tie. Tickets are $100 and are available at the Ministry of Community Affairs & Sport on the second floor of the Perry Building at 40 Church Street.

The Bermuda Federation of Musicians and Variety Artists are holding their annual general meeting at 1 p.m. at the department of Cultural Affairs on the corner of Reid Street and Court Street, upstairs in the boardroom. All members are invited to attend.

Bermuda Community Education Advisory Council presents a Fall Fashion Show at the Cathedral Hall from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. . Tickets are $10.

Monday

The Bermuda Darts Association is having their annual general meeting at the B.A.A. Clubhouse on August 29 at 8.30 p.m. All members are urged to attend.

Wednesday

There will be a sustainable development talk at 7.30 p.m. at the St. George?s Historical Society Museum on the Duke of Kent Street given by Ross Andrews, project co-ordinator. Admission is free but call Tony Saunders for reservations at 232-5715.

The Masterworks Foundation is inviting parents and children from 4 to 8 years old to a hands-on session with Emma-Jayne Jones to learn how she paints and creates from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. $15 for each child. The Mid-Ocean News 39th Annual Wahoo Tournament starting at 7 a.m. The alternate date is September 18 or 25. There is no entry fee, but entry forms must be taken to Flybridge Tackle by 5 p.m., September 6.
