Youngsters, have you got a lotta bottle?
Two Saltus boys are hoping to make a new pen-pal in Estonia, after discovering a letter in a bottle in Peter Tucker's Bay.
Cousins Robert McFarland, ten, and Drew Simmons, ten, found the letter while searching for rope to build a fort at their grandmother's house at Spanish Point on Sunday.
The short letter asked whomever found it to write to Enn Oja in Tallin, which Robert proudly announced was the capital of Estonia.
Robert's father Tom, Drew and nine-year-old cousin Darren, found information about Estonia in the atlas. So Robert, Drew and Darren are going to write a letter back, explaining where they found the letter and when.
And the letter said they can write back in nearly thirty languages including English, French, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese.
If you find any letters in a bottle, call Young Observer, we would like to hear about it.
