The Bermuda School of Music presents The Magnificent and Mysterious. Magnify thy soul with music that reflects Christmas and advent with a programme of choral masterworks performed by The Bermuda Chamber Choir conducted by Ryan Ellis including J.S. Bach, F.J. Hayden and Vaughan Williams. Several soloists and special guest Jason McStoots, tenor at 7.30 p.m. at St. John’s Church in Pembroke. Tickets are $75 for patrons, and $30 for adults, $15 for students. Available from the Bermuda School of Music, Music Box, Pulp & Circumstance, Meyer Travel and other choir members.

Berkeley Institute Parent Teacher Conference from 2 to 6 p.m. at the New Berkeley Institute. All parents and guardians are required to attend to collect report cards and to discuss progress with individual teachers. Light refreshments will be provided.

Andrew Stevenson “Paving Shangri La” will be shown again at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, 6.30 p.m. There will be a talk about the Annapurnas and how Andrew Stevenson made the film, and how it has done at film festivals in the USA, Canada, Europe, Russia, Asia and Australasia. Masterworks Christmas Boutique<$> from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reception on Tuesday November 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. This annual event is set to become a fixture in our winter calendar, with part proceeds going to Masterworks.

The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce <$>presents ‘Understanding ModernBermuda’, a seminar facilitated by Walton Brown. The session will include a historical overview of Bermuda, the development of trade unionism, the economy, the independence question, understanding the labour Market and the politics of immigrations.

National Trust Christmas Walkabout<$> from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. . Open Studio at Buckingham, St. George’s. Masterworks Artist in Residence Lynda Shalagan will open her studio during the walk for a preview of her work in oils, inspired by her residency in Bermuda.

Masterworks - A Magical Evening of Carolling from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the steps of Camden House in the Botanical Gardens. The sounds of the season will be performed by local choirs and musicians. Everyone is invited to get into the holiday spirit and join in the festivities - bring the family, a blanket, a picnic, and sing along to your favourite carols. Admission is free. No Rain Date.

The Bermuda Musical & Dramatic Society (BMDS) is putting on their annual Christmas pantomime, Ali Baba and the 14 Thieves written by local Carol Birch with original score by James Burn at 7.30 p.m. at City Hall with a 3 p.m. matinee.
