Raymond and Carmelita Durham announce the recent Call to the Bar of their son, Jaymo Eugene Durham. Jaymo attended West Pembroke Primary School before graduating from the Berkeley Institute.

The Berkeley Institute and Bermuda College graduate attended American International College where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

From there, Jaymo completed the University of Hull’s LLB Honours Programme in 2002 and the Legal Professional Course at the College of Law, in York.

He has also attained the postgraduate diploma in Legal Education in 2004. Jaymo completed his legal training in August 2006, after a 12 month pupillage at Trott & Duncan Barristers and Attorneys.Julian Musson earned an Entrance Scholarship to Mount Allison University.

Julian is the son of Keith Musson and Karen Stroeder and is beginning his first year at Mount Allison Universary (Canada) this fall.Ashley Diane Cassidy<$>, daughter of Joel and Cheryl Cassidy of Pembroke recently graduated from Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education with an overall 3.67 grade point average.

Ashley previously attended Mount Saint Agnes and Brock University in Ontario, Canada.

Ashley received a scholarship and the Brock Scholars Award. Ashley has been offered a job at Heron Bay Primary as Primary Four teacher.Nicole R. Brockington has recently graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Nicole attended Bermuda College before completing her degree at Mount Saint Vincent.

She is a graduate of CedarBridge Academy and West Pembroke. Attending the graduation were her parents, grandmother Marilyn Robinson, son Nasje Brockington and cousin Xyaire Smith.Richard and Beryl Bartlett are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Richard Alexander Bartlett<$> to Anita Marie Weadge, daughter of Bob and Marie Weadge of Orilia, Ontario. A June 2007 wedding is planned in Bermuda.

Warwick Academy Class of 2000 and Sixth Form graduate Helen Larzleer<$> has graduated with a bachelor of arts in Psychology. Helen is the daughter of Brian Larzleer of Warwick, and Suzanne Jeffrey of Paget.

She graduated from the University of Guelph with a BA in Psychology with a focus on Animal Behaviour, in the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences. While at University she served as President of Arts House residence hall from 2002-2004 and Vice President of the East Village upper-year residence hall from 2004-2005.

She also served as Public Relations Officer for the Ontario Residence Hall Association from 2004-2005. She worked part-time as Scribe for the Guelph Campus Cooperative her final year and as Stage Manager/Lighting and Set Designer, DRMA*4250 Honours Project.

Her extra curricular activities included Guelph’s Symphonic & Womens Choirs, as soprano, playing the French horn in the Guelph’s Improvisational Ensemble and in Curtain Call Production’s musical Annie Get Your Gun. She has now returned to Bermuda and is working full-time at the Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo.Mark W. L. Henderson<$>, son of Ruth Henderson and the late William E. Henderson of Paget, was awarded his Masters in Philosophy of Religion from McGill University at the October 2005 Convocation.

His thesis explored the philosophy and theology of Gordon G. Kaufman, a contemporary Harvard theologian. Mark spent a year teaching English in Taiwan then returned to Bermuda to work at Outward Bound this summer. In August he was awarded the Appleby, Spurling Hunter Legal Education Scholarship Award 2006/2007, and is now studying law at the University of Calgary.Danny and Jo Little of St. Davids announce their daughters Naomi and Rebecca have recently attained degrees in English Literature and Three Dimensional Design respectively. Naomi graduated with a first Class Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in English Literature from Bath Spa University in Bath, in July 2006.

Prior to that, Naomi completed GCE ‘AS’ Levels in English Literature, History and Latin at Cranbrook School in Kent.

Naomi was educated at the Bermuda High School and at St. David’s Primary School.

Naomi has recently joined the Marketing Department of Dundee Leeds Management Services Ltd., where she plans to further her qualifications in this profession.

Rebecca received her Bachelor of Arts (hons) in Three Dimensional Design in Jewellery and Metalwork, from the University for the Creative Arts at Farnham, Surrey, in June 2006.

Rebecca has most recently won acclaim locally for her work in a Bermuda Society of Arts show this summer and has been invited to exhibit pieces in various shows in the U.K. and Bermuda this autumn.

Prior to specialising in jewellery design and crafting, Rebecca completed an Art Foundation and Design course at Richmond-upon-Thames College, Twickenham, and studied GCE ‘A’ Level Art and Design and Advanced GNVQ Business Studies at Archbishop Tenison & St. Andrew’s School in Croydon.

Currently Rebecca is at Bishopland, near Reading, having been selected to attend this prestigious yearlong apprenticeship in jewellery design and craftsmanship.
