In the spirit of keeping the love alive Ruff Ryderz is presenting Cupid's Passion to get you in the mood.

The event, which will feature DJs Daddy Chriffa of Spearchucka and Magic of Soul Jah 1, is set to go off tonight at the Devonshire Recreation Club.

Ruff Ryderz organiser Chris Famous said that the DJs will be playing a mixture of reggae tunes.

"They will play both oldies and up to date romantic reggae songs or as they say Lovers Rock," he said.

When asked whether there would be special romantic favours for his patrons, he said: "There will be CD giveaways for every lady."

Asked why he decided to hold the Valentine's dance, he replied: "It is the beginning of a weekend of love and passion.

"So ladies if your looking for a wonderful evening with music to carry you into the utopian land of romantic bliss this will be the place for you ¿ prepare to have your dance card filled out.

"And gentlemen, please practise your tango skills." Tickets $20, are available at the door.
