Casino Nights at Splash Night Club

As a way of adding excitement and adrenaline of a Las Vegas casino to help brighten the winter months, the Splash Night Club have teamed up with Carnivo XO for Casino Nights.

Splash Night Club manager Marino Ramazio told The Royal Gazette that they were aiming for a way that people could have something “exciting and fun” to on Wednesday nights.

“The Casino Nights is an idea that I had in Italy,” he said, “And it was really fun because there was no money involved and it was the thrill of gambling, without loosing any money.

“I had an interview with the Police and they said, ‘Marino this is a great idea - it is perfect and it is no problem whatsoever’. They were fine with that.”

The whole place looks beautiful, added Mr. Ramazio.

“There are professional dealers on the tables,” he said, “And there are beautiful prizes - a motorcycle, an iPod, there are a bunch prizes.

“I also made a big dice, which is right in the middle and that is a charity box. At the end of the night people can drop their remaining chips into the dice to raise funds for local causes. We want to do that to support.

“So there is no interest for us whatsoever, but Splash will be fun.

“It is a long boring winter and sometimes there is nothing to do so we are trying to spice up the nightlife a little bit. So that is basically what it is.”

The games that people will be able to indulge in, are the usual.

“Things like blackjack, poker, roulette,” he said.

“It is pure gambling, but without money. So as you pass through the door we will give you free chips and when you buy a drink you get more — it is always like this and you get a chance to win.

“Last week a girl won an iPod and it was just a few people, but it was nice.

“Also the music is more on the chilled out side, soft and nice and if this is going to work really well I’m looking at introducing other things. Always for fun.”

“The good thing also is that we will start at around 8 o’clock and finish around 1 o’clock — we understand that people have to go to work. I think it is a good initiative and I am willing to give it a few more nights to see if it works.”
