Are you ready for some football?!
Millions around the world will be tuning in to the Super Bowl featuring the Green Bay Packers versus the New England Patriots for the 31st annual game.
Even in Bermuda, where American football is not even played, hundreds will be glued to the television whether it be at home, a friend's home, or at their favourite pub and bar.
Of course, the pubs and bars are going all out to ensure their patrons have drink specials, promotional gimmicks, and of course snacks -- both hot and cold.
At M.R Onions there will be beer special, drink specials and shot specials.
"And we will also be doing snacks and from 5 p.m. onwards the televisions will be on. The game is due to start at 7.18 p.m.,'' owner Philip Talbot said.
He added: "We have decorations and raffles with the top prize being a Super Bowl Miller beer chair.'' Robin Hood Pub and Restaurant has a big Super Bowl party every year complete with beer and drink specials and a running raffle draw throughout the evening.
Owner Chopper Harris said their main prizes are also Miller Lite chairs and each quarter there are food specials, a Green Bay special and a New England special. "There is definitely a lot of atmosphere.
"We are normally full, we always have a packed house for the Super Bowl and on top of that we have the FA Cup in the Morning with Chelsea versus Liverpool, and Newcastle versus Nottingham Forest during the day and at 5 p.m.
we will switch on for the Super Bowl.'' Mr. Harris also said the Green Bay special will be cheesehead steak which is a sirloin steak with smothered onions, with Wisconsin melted cheese on the top served with fries and veggies, and the New Patriot Missile which is a giant hot dog with smothered onions and mustard with Boston Baked beans and fries.
At Docksiders, according to owner Reid Young, Super Bowl fans can start eating from the morning on with a breakfast.
"We are also doing chili, drink specials, and freebies and we will also have a 20 question quiz for prizes,'' Mr. Young said.
He added: "I expect a good crowd and we have five television screens. We had a great day last year, there was a great atmosphere.
Coconut Rock's manager Shane DeSilva said they are offering happy hour Miller draft specials and Amaretto shots. "We will be showing the game in the restaurant and on three screen televisions. We are decorating the place right up. I think the chef is also putting out some chili.
"I expect us to have a lot of fun,'' Mr. DeSilva said. He added: "A lot of regulars will come down and it will turn into one big party.'' If you live in Somerset and are not up to coming into town there is always the Frog and Onion Pub in Dockyard.
Manager Jean-Paul Magmim said they will be starting at 2.30 p.m. with a darts and pool tournament.
"People will have to play both and we will finish by 6.30 in time for the pre-Super Bowl entertainment,'' Mr. Magmim said. He added we will also have special prices on drinks which will continue on in the evening and we will have snacks such as small sandwiches. "Hopefully the games in the afternoon will attract people.'' People going to Flanagan's will enjoy specials on food such as chicken wings, hot dogs, and scotch meat pie.
"We will have Super Bowl banners up and blow up helmets,'' manager David Cromwell said. He added: "We are expecting a big crowd, the more the merrier.''
