steam-rolling the Island and will begin serving the Japanese delicacies soon.

The former Bourbon Street lounge at the rear of the restaurant has been "totally redone'', said manager/owner Shane DeSilva yesterday, and will open as Yashi -- Japanese for coconut -- Sushi Bar for dinner on April 9.

There will be seats for about 50 people and the menu will feature sushi, sashimi and tempura, all prepared by chefs who were at the old Marriott Castle Harbour's Japanese restaurant Mikado before it closed.

Mr. DeSilva said yesterday: "This is something we always wanted to do back there but never got around to. Everyone wants sushi and we are centrally located so we decided to go ahead with it.'' Yashi Sushi Bar will be open for lunch and dinner and offer take out service.
