Chefs get ready for cook-off
All professional chefs are invited to create and enter an original entree in this exciting event which takes place over a three week period in May.
Last year 18 of the Island's most talented chefs competed in front of a packed room and Kevin Golding of Belmont took the title. Previous winners include Chef Neville King, formerly of Chancery Wine Bar and Pastry Chef Kayte Gregory of Four Ways Inn.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Gosling Brothers, the Supermart on Front Street, International Imports and the Bermuda Chefs Association, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from The Bermuda Master Chef Cook-Off benefit a local charity.
Since 1995, more than $20,000 has been donated with PALS receiving $8,000 last year alone. This year's recipient will be Friends of the Hospice/Agape House.
Deadline for all entries is Friday, April 3. Interested chefs can pick-up their forms from the Chef's Shop on Par-La-Ville Road, Hamilton. Tickets for this popular event will go on sale Monday, April 6.
