Dummy to entertain kids, wivers on Father's day
wife and kids for a couple of hours.
That is the idea of top comedian Bootsie who has invited New York ventriloquist Ron Michael to the Island for two Father's Day shows.
Mr. Michael, who has made a number of TV appearances in the US, will appear on Sunday at the Liberty Theatre.
He will be appearing with his puppet dog, one of his most famous "partners''.
Bootsie will also get involved in the show, using material he has specially prepared for children.
He said: "While mothers like to go out for a meal on Mother's Day, fathers prefer to go to a bar with their friends.
"This means we can keep mothers and children entertained for a couple of hours and there is still time to go out for a meal later in the day.'' The performances are 12.30 p.m. and 4 p.m., tickets are available at $15, or a special group rate of $12, from the 27th Century Boutique and the Liberty Theatre.
