The Commission for Unity and Racial Equality will be holding workshops entitled "Improving Race Relations in the Workplace''.

The workshops are designed to help employers and employees achieve a prejudice-free workplace.

Workshop facilitators were drawn from the Bermuda College Diversity Programme, the Department of Human Affairs, and Bermuda Employers Council Conflict Management Programme.

The series, which will run from May 22 to June 19, was introduced to the corporate community at a reception held last month.

CURE chairman Ken Spurling said several organisations had registered for the workshops, which were the first such initiatives taken by CURE within the business sector.
