members with a luncheon at La Coquille Restaurant recently.

Among those honoured were elementary school principal Delores Sullivan and Lilda Spencer for fifteen years of service; Erna Taylor for twenty-five years of service; and Patricia Doyle, John DaCosta and high school principal Sister Judith Rollo for thirty years of service.

Sister Judith said the luncheon was "wonderful''.

"It worked well for the staff and the students because they were dismissed from school at 12 noon,'' she said.

"I guess every day has been a joy. I love teenagers and young children. I love all of the children of Bermuda.'' Board of Governors' Chairman Kim White presided over the festivities and described the honourees as "true professionals in their field...not just educating, but inspiring our young people''.

"They represent the excellence for which Mount Saint Agnes has been known for over a century,'' he said.

Each long-serving staff member received a gift of Waterford crystal. The longer their years of service to the school, the larger their gift. Sister Judith received a crystal lamp.
