ICD gives out awards

The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce International Companies Division was behind the awards which have steadily increased in funding over the past two years.

Twenty-nine students are supported by the International Companies Education Awards this year.

Each award recipient delivered a short speech on the importance of international business in his or her career before officially receiving their scholarships.

ICD chairman Mr. Anthony Goodfellow, thanked all the companies that supported the award scheme.

"This has not been an easy year to collect money for anything. Without the support of the companies there would be no awards.''
