Astwood Dickinson, one of Bermuda's premier jewellry stores, and women's clothing retailer, Cecile, are collaborating on a festival of jewellry and fashion extravaganza. The fashions hit the catwalk today at 6.30 p.m. in Astwood Dickinson's main store on Front Street.

It's the first time two premier retailers have collaborated to bring to Bermuda an event of this kind; the show promises cutting edge jewellery and fashion designs from both.

This fashion show is meant to provide guests with wardrobe and jewellry ideas -- particularly for the festive holiday season.

Also participating are men's clothier Aston and Gunn, while HA&E Smith will provide casual and formal fashions for children.

Hosting the evening is Gina Payne-Scott -- the new marketing manager at Astwood Dickinson -- who is best known for producing and providing voice-overs for numerous local radio commercials and hosting the Onion Trail television show in 1994.

Also providing comment are Nancy Wainwright, Astwood Dickinson's general manager who is an expert in jewellry. She will provide insight on to how to choose jewellry for any occasion. Store manager Paul Tuite will also be on hand.
