The Olympic Club has teamed up with Miles Market and opened its own healthy counter at the Dundonald Road site.
In a copy-cat move which mimics the popular Atlantic Club food counter, the Olympic Club, which is located opposite Masters, will be selling low fat options to workers such as sushi, salads and sandwiches.
Scott Stallard, the owner of the gym, said: "The goal is to offer not just an alternative to other lunch spots, but a healthy alternative. It is all about healthy living and wellness -- every item we offer at our outlet is good for you, and that is a rarity if you compare with other places.'' The new food bar will be open not only to gym members, but also members of the public as a take-away service. The shop, called Miles-to-go, is located near the entrance of the club to allow easy access for the public.
