half-term holiday.

Keely Belvin, Lindsay Davis, Joanna Dove and Claire White worked flat out to raise $250 for Bermuda Red Cross by holding two bake sales, a lemonade stand, and a used toy sale.

As Year Seven students from the Bermuda High School for Girls, they had little difficulty in deciding who would benefit from their efforts.

BHS has a Red Cross Club, and the girls were aware of the help the organisation provides in times of disasters.

This week they handed over the money to Bermuda Red Cross director Mr. Frank Gamble during a ceremony at The Royal Gazette .

The girls were keen to thank those who supported their sales, which were held at their homes.
