Admin pros bake up Easter treats

Professionals will be holding a `Cod Fish Cake and Hot Cross Bun Bake Sale tomorrow. The sale will take place in the Bermuda Cathedral Hall (across from MarketPlace) from 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Visit early to be guaranteed traditional tastes prepared by some of Bermuda's hottest fish-cake connoisseurs, such as Rodney Smith and fish-cake-king-in-waiting Dale Butler . Beverages and baked goods will also be on sale.

*** Local musician Barbara Garton has been bestowed with a great musical honour.

Curtis Price, principal of the Royal Academy of Music in England informed Mrs.

Garton she was elected as an associate of the Royal Academy of Music.

Individuals can only become an associate if they are a former student of the Academy who have achieved distinction in their profession.

Mrs. Garton is a full-time voice and piano teacher at the Bermuda Academy of Music.

*** The Bermuda College Library will be closed over the Easter weekend. Officials apologise for any inconvenience caused by the April 2 and 4 closure.

*** Community Education and Development Programme Late registration for Spring Term classes will begin today and continues until April 1. Classes begin the week of April 12.

Harvard Hasty Pudding `I Get No Kick From Campaign', the annual musical satire, will take to the stage at City Hall tonight, tomorrow, Friday, and Monday at 8 p.m. Tickets $20 from the Visitor Service Bureau Ticket Office on Front Street in Hamilton, 295-1727.

Bermuda Youth Library Will host a Easter Break Movie Day at the library.

Movies will be shown at 10.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Each movie session will last approximately one hour and 15 minutes. Children should be registered for movies by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30. There will be a $2 registration fee per session. Movies will be suitable for children over the age of five. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

The Bermuda National Gallery Presents a lunchtime concert with Radcliffe Pitches at the Gallery. The 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. concert is free to BNG members and $5 for the general public.

The Bermuda Sub Aqua Club Anyone interested in learning how to scuba dive should sign up for the next BSAC training course during tonight's information evening at 6.30 p.m. at the BSAC Club House, Admiralty House Park, Spanish Point. For more information Sally Brown at 292-9527.

Canadian Pacific Princess Hotel The Gazebo Lounge and J.B. Productions presents the Gothic ghost thriller `Woman in Black', by Susan Hill and Stephen Mallatratt. The play will take to the stage tonight thru Saturday. Tickets can be booked by calling 295-3000. Dinner and theatre tickets $60, theatre tickets only $25. Doors open at 8.30 p.m., shows start at 9 p.m.
