The Vestry of St. Mark's Anglican Church, Smith's Parish has donated $500 to the "Burned Churches Fund'' of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.

The donation was deemed an expression of their concern over the burning of black Churches and a gesture to help them rebuild.

The Vestry said others wishing to help may send donations to: SCLC National Headquarters, "Burned Churches'', 334 Auburn Ave. NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30312, USA.
