The Bermuda Turtle Project (BTP) is led by Dr. Peter and Dr. Anne Meylan, scientific directors for BTP.

Co-ordinator Jennifer Gray said the course promotes the conservation of marine turtles through education and research.

She said: "What we're doing is developing a stronger, more experienced network of people to protect our sea turtles when they leave Bermuda's waters for the Caribbean.

"Thanks to sponsors such as Chevron International and Oleander, we're able to offer an excellent course and share knowledge and expertise.'' The course has shown some results.
