Bermudiana works on show
main rooms of the National Gallery will be devoted to the collection.
Entitled "Masterworks Bares All -- Part II, The Artwork'', the show will feature almost its entire collection of Bermudiana.
Masterworks spokeswoman Mrs. Elise Outerbridge says the exhibition will demonstrate the wide scope of artwork collected so far and, at the same time, will indicate the direction the Foundation hopes to pursue in the future.
Included will be oils, watercolours, drawings and monochromes by such artists as Winslow Homer, Georgia O'Keeffe, Thomas Driver, Ogden Pleisner, Jack Bush, Charles Demuth, Ambrose Webster and Bermuda's own Charles Lloyd Tucker. The exhibition runs through September 4.
