Sheila Smith were welcomed to the Island by Brewster students, alumni and parents at the first meeting of the Brewster-Bermuda Parent-Alumni Network.

In addition to The Smiths, Brewster Academy was represented by Tim Radley , Brewster Faculty and Peg Radley , Brewster's Admissions Coordinator.

Bermuda was represented by Mr. and Mrs. Roderic Pearman , parents of Roderic (Scott) Pearman '87, Kennette Smith '89, Kennalene Durham , mother of Kennisha Leverock '98, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Johnson and their son, Kareem '99, and new to Brewster Academy, Mr. Wendell Richards and Dr. Constance Richards and their daughter Sakhile '99.

The Network's goal is to broaden and strengthen the long-standing relationship between Brewster Academy and Bermuda students and their families and introduce the opportunity of a unique educational experience to deserving Bermudian students. Since 1979 the Brewster-Bermuda alliance has attracted over 100 students.
