Camping is permitted at Clearwater Beach.

Tents are permitted to go up today but no one is permitted to camp on this day. Camping is permitted beginning tomorrow until Sunday August 2.

All camping gear should be removed by Monday morning. At Daniel's Head Beach, the gates will be opened during this period of time. There will be no parking on the narrow entry road due to emergency access.

There will be no camping on nature reserves, in particular Blue Hole Park and Cooper's Island nature reserve.

Rangers will be on duty tomorrow night and both days of Cup Match until 10 p.m. to assist park users. For more information the Park Ranger office at 236-5902 or 236-4201.

*** The Ministry of Youth, Sport, Parks and Recreation invites you to Island Jam 1998 to be held on Saturday, August 22 at the Kindley Community Field.

The show, which starts at 7 p.m., will be filled with family entertainment.

There will be a variety of entertainers providing music, recitation, dance, comedy, poetry and fashion show.
