The November 14 charity fund-raiser was organised by the Bermuda Society of Interior Designers.

As much as $2,000 was raised for the hospice through raffles.

And yesterday BSID members handed over a cheque to Mrs. Hilary Soares, hospice co-ordinator.

Said the society's secretary Ms Susan Bendell: "We realised the hospice was in need of funds. Everyone is very aware of the AIDS problem.''
