Chance for local talent

entertainers, concert promoter Choy Aming has decided to offer them a venue to showcase their talents.

Choy Aming Productions' first annual "Local Talent on Parade'' talent show, with $1,800 in prize money, will be held at the Clayhouse Inn next month.

Mr. Aming hopes to attract the Island's best amateur and professional entertainers, including singers, dancers, rappers, reggae groups, bands and novelty acts.

The lucky first prize winner will not only get $1,000 in cash, but will be given the opportunity to open for Maxi Priest's Bermuda concert on May 29. The second place winner will get $500 and third, $300.

The event's preliminary round is slated for April 2, with semifinals the following week and finals on April 17.
