Bermudian piano bar entertainer Mr. Danny Garcia, steel band virtuoso Mr.

Steve Dupres, and veteran musician Mr. Milton Robinson, have come up with "Steel Grove Calypso Hits''.

The cassette features standard calypso tunes like "Matilda'', "Bermuda Is Another World'', and "Yellow Bird'' and Mr. Garcia said it has been selling like hotcakes since its release this week.

He attributed this to the "superior quality'' of the songs produced live on a modern digital recording and chrome cassettes.

Mr. Garcia said the group also had Bermuda's wide tourist market in mind when choosing which songs to record.

"What were trying to do with this is reach the tourists,'' he said. "So all these songs are well-known, standards.'' Copies of the cassettes went on sale at Music Box, Riihiluoma's, and This and That this week.

It is also available under the world music section at Camelot Music in Lennox Mall in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Garcia said even though the cassette is targeted at visitors, it will also make a good Christmas gift for Bermudians.
