Fashion show helps Masteworks
was raised in style last month.
The Vida-Moda society raised $10,700 through a fashion show at the Southampton Princess.
It will go towards buying a $15,000 Ross Turner watercolour of the Southlands estate in Warwick.
And on Tuesday Vida-Moda members handed over the cheque to the Masterworks Foundation's Mr. Tom Butterfield.
Vida-Moda chairperson Mrs. Sanya Correia, the Portuguese Consul's wife, appealed for people to help pay for the remaining $4,300 for the painting.
"We are hoping some people will help out,'' she said.
Mrs. Correia added the painting -- owned by an American -- was currently on loan to Masterworks.
