Plans for a new film festival in 2000 look brighter with news that the original BIFF management board are meeting again.
Aideen Ratteray-Pryse, who served as BIFF director until last October, has confirmed to The Royal Gazette that the original committee may revive the festival next year.
Mrs. Ratteray-Pryse and the entire management board resigned after a rift developed between board members Stan Chetkowski and Dr. Stanley Ratteray, who refused to hire a full-time festival director.
