`Venture 2000' on Sunday, November 5.

The group will hold an informal guided walkabout which they describe as a great way to explore, learn, network, support a cause, and expend some calories.

Commentary on local history, ecology, culture, Bermudiana and so on will be given en-route and participants are asked to make a donation to benefit a local conservation, environmental, cultural or service organisations.

The group will rendezvous at 9.15 a.m. for a 9.30 a.m. departure from the Whitney Institute parking lot in Flatts.

The ramble route will go from Flatts Village through the Railway Trail and back to Whitney Institute.

Ramblers are advised to bring along a picnic lunch, beverage, functional footwear and perhaps a camera or binoculars.
