"I saw them swarming yesterday and there was an awful lot of them. I have called beekeepers and they said the best thing to do was spray them.'' Mr. Simons said he was doing repairs on his Cavendish Road, Pembroke, home near the air vent when the bees arrived on Wednesday.
"They were swarming like crazy and I had to stop work because of the risk of getting stung,'' he said. "My father kept bees for years -- I don't mind them and nobody's been stung.
"But my tenants don't like them at all, so I suppose I'll just have to exterminate them.''
