KBB president's brief tenure ends
months at the helm.
Andrew Vaucrosson resigned his position on Friday, after joining the conservation and clean-up organisation in mid-August.
Yesterday, Mr. Vaucrosson said his departure was a "mutual decision I made with the board''.
He refused to be drawn further on the reasons for his resignation and said any comment should come from the KBB board.
He added that he was not a member of the group previously and was solicited by KBB to become their head.
"The cause itself is a good one, it definitely needs to be focused upon. It could slip away if it doesn't keep its eye on these matters,'' he said.
KBB spokesman Lennox Boodrum said any statements on the matter should come from the board.
A statement from the KBB Board of Directors said: "We write to confirm that Andrew Vaucrosson has tendered his resignation as president of KBB for personal reasons.
"The Board would like to use this opportunity to publicly thank Andrew for his hard work over the last few months and also to reaffirm our commitment to the objectives of the charity.'' Mr. Vaucrosson joined KBB following the departure of previous president Scott Kitson, who resigned along with vice president Greg Wojciechowski after five years in their respective posts.
