Marley ball to mark black history month

The ball will be held on Saturday -- Marley's birthday -- under the patronage of Opposition MP Ms Jennifer Smith and carries the theme "Coming Together''.

A full African buffet plus entertainment by local groups including Legacy, Eddie Ming and Storm, Wild Honey and Time Tunnel Review, will be provided at the ball to be held at Hunt's warehouse on Khyber Pass Road, Warwick.

Tickets for the ball, which is a Blackbox Performance Workshop presentation, are $30. A limited supply is available at True Reflections on Court Street and Hair At Last on Roberts Avenue, Devonshire.

A discount of 10 percent will be given at both places with the purchase of ball tickets. Doors open at 7.30 p.m. and dinner will be served from 8 p.m.
