Whether ties, crystal, china, clothing or a display case of watches, the designs of the Garden Club were right on the mark, according to managing director of A.S. Cooper & Sons Ltd., Peter Cooper. According to Mr. Cooper, each of the original arrangements exemplified the talent possessed by the club members and all were in perfect accordance with the store merchandise with the effect being nothing less than fabulous. All real flowers grown by the members themselves, the difficulty in arranging lay in having them fit into some of the more oddly shaped nooks and crannys of the merchandise in the store as seen in the picture on the left with the unique formation amid the ties.

A.S. Cooper & Sons Ltd.'s magnificently colourful tie selection was made a dash brighter with the aid of this unique floral arrangement by members of the Garden Club which made it impossible for any of the shoppers in the Men's Department to walk through the area on the second floor without stopping to examine the original design Even display counters became more appealing as a result of the stunning flower arrangements created by the Garden Club.
