presents top business administration student Kristin White with an award. She was honoured earlier this month at a Business Administration Awards Ceremony.
The annual BFIS Plaque goes to the top graduate of the Business Administration course, majoring in insurance at the College. A former Berkeley Institute student, Ms White graduated with Distinction from the College and now plans to continue her education at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where she will study international business management. Other grads involved with BFIS, either through its mentor programme or scholarships, included Remy Colmet, Deanna DeShields, Dion Fox, Fretina Robinson, Robyn Simmons, Anastasia Slater and Garon Wilkinson. Bermuda-registered charity BFIS was set up to develop and coordinate educational resources vital to the future of the local insurance market. ACE Insurance, AON Group, Centre Solutions, Chubb Atlantic, LaSalle Re, Renaissance Re, XL Capital and Mutual Risk Management are some of the many sponsors of the programme.
