Fredericton, Canada, Tara Jackson of the Emergency Department, April Vesey from the Intensive Care Unit, and Rachael Andrade from Memorial Ward of the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, graduated and received their Bachelor of Nursing degrees. They have been continuing their education through a distance learning programme offered by the University of New Brunswick, attending teleconferencing and local classes over the past four years. This is an ongoing programme in Bermuda, maintaining a strong relationship with the University of New Brunswick. There are several nurses from KEMH following in these nurses footsteps, as there have been others before them as well.
