Seal pool to be closed The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo has closed off its seal pool to the public for just over a month.

The work, which has begun, will include the replacement of the existing flat plywood roof with a traditional-style peaked roof along with a resurfaced concrete walkway which is expected to provide a more attractive and safe walking surface.

BAMZ curator Jack Ward said: "This Government funded maintenance work will dramatically improve the visitor's environment and appreciation of the seal pools.''
