The Country Cartel, which puts on the show honouring Bermuda's best entertainers, yesterday announced that instead of having a select committee the public will be asked to pick their favourites in categories such as jazz, reggae, rhythm and blues to entertainer of the year and favourite comedian.

On Friday August 11, nomination forms will be printed in The Royal Gazette and they are to be returned to the Country Cartel P.O Box 440 SNBX. The deadline for receiving forms will be September 1.

Show organiser Mr. Darren `Butch' Burchall said: "As usual the show will feature an explosion of the best in local entertainment and it will be held at City Hall on Friday September 15 at 8 p.m.''
