The Bermuda Musical & Dramatic Society urgently needs back-stage volunteers to work in a variety of areas during preparations for and performances of its Christmas pantomime, Red Riding Hood.

"Due to the lack of volunteers, the pantomime very nearly didn't happen this year,'' publicity officer Mrs. Jackie Stevenson said. "We would especially welcome people who are interested in learning various aspects of theatre craft, such as sound and lighting, and set painting.'' Experienced light and sound technicians are needed to work during the performances, which run from November 30 to December 11, and hair dressers and make-up people are also urgently required for the same period. Set painting begins on Monday, November 8.

If you can assist or require further information, phone producer Jane Correia at 236-7839.
