Brandi Foggo received a miniature residence all of her own this Christmas.

Brandi's uncle, carpenter Mr. Dave Foggo, constructed the two-room Bermuda cottage in three weeks and delivered it just in time for the big day.

Brandi's grandmother, Mrs. Eleanor Foggo, said yesterday she was amazed at the detail her son had put into the playhouse.

"We thought he would just put openings for the windows and door, but he installed real ones,'' she said.

"Shamrock 2'', which sits in the backyard of its namesake on Barry Road in St. George's, is painted the same colour as the main house. It has two skylight windows and a chimney on its traditional white roof.

The interior of the miniature cottage is no less impressive. The play kitchen features a toy refrigerator and sink, broom closet and formica flooring. Her dolls spend most of their time in the adjoining living room, which is fully carpeted and furnished.

Mrs. Foggo served as interior decorator, making all of the drapes and cushions.

The family had to resort to fibbing to keep such a large present a secret.

"We told her it was (being made) for someone else,'' said Mrs. Foggo.
