Winter art show fast approaching for BSoA

The Bermuda Society of Arts reminds all members that the deadline for the Member's Winter Show is fast approaching.

The Society is asking all its artist members to bring-in at least one item for this last show of the year.

"We hope that as well as having paintings, sculptures and photographs on show, our members will also enter hand-crafted collectibles such as jewellery, tree ornaments, glassware, pottery, decorated boxes and furniture,'' said BSoA president Bruce Stuart. "This is a unique opportunity to buy a unique gift at a unique time in history.'' The bring-in date for the special show is Friday, November 12.

Anyone looking for an original gift for this last-of-the millennium Christmas, should check out the BSoA's Members Winter Show which opens on November 20.

The Society was founded in 1956 to encourage and stimulate artists in Bermuda, to help sell their work and to foster art appreciation.

The Society has a current membership of 490.
