Bermuda National Gallery PartnerRe Art Lecture Series: Bill Brandt in Focus. Reception 5.30 p.m., lecture 6 p.m. by visiting Goldsmiths College, University of London lecturer and art critic, Ian Jeffrey, who will discuss Brandt's connections with European photography in the 1930s and his photographic techniques. This presentation will reveal much about Brandt's personality, his artistic intentions, and the influence of his art from the 1950s onwards: 'a major artist'. $10 members; $20 non-members.

Get in the Pink Fun Walk under the distinguished patronage of Lady Gozney. Step Up & Out against Breast Cancer. Official start is 6 p.m. at Barrs Bay Park. T-shirt packs are $40. Dr. Kevin Hughes of Massachusetts General Hospital Boston presents 'The Genetic Risk of Breast Cancer' at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute at 7 p.m. There will also be a documentary film by New York cancer survivor Lori Benson called 'Dear Talula'.
