National network ZDF will shoot an episode of Draumschift (Dreamboat) in May, which will air in December.

And the station will return in November to shoot another programme.

Tourism Minister David Allen said Germany was Europe's largest travel market and was the Island's most important European market after the United Kingdom and northern Italy.

Mr. Allen was recently at the Fourth Bermuda Marketplace in Manchester, England, attended by Manchester City star Shaun Goater, and the International Travel Bourse, the world's largest travel trade, event in Berlin, Germany.

He told MPs on Friday that European travellers were vital because although they accounted for ten percent of air arrivals, they constituted 17 percent of bed nights.
